The core of the original NAJP was its coveted mid-career fellowship program. Over 12 years, NAJP awarded 131 fellowships. Currently, NAJP's fellowship program has been suspended. But we will have news on this program in the coming months, so please check back.

HISTORICALLY, NAJP FELLOWS LINKED ACADEMIC STUDY AND CULTURAL IMMERSION in New York City with participation in NAJP-supported projects. Several NAJP research fellows combined their coursework and off-campus activities in recent years with the design and execution of research projects and professional conferences on subjects of relevance to arts journalism.
